Virtual Libraries and Real-Life Concerns

Virtual Libraries and Real-Life Concerns. Law.com has posted this article by Tricia Kasting. Nothing new here but it is a good attempt by a law librarian to explain some library issues to a non-librarian audience.

In particular, I appreciated the reference to information literacy. The author noted, "We have a virtual library, but we are not only a virtual library. Whether the information comes from a book, subscription database or free Web site, there is a need to identify and evaluate the resource. Librarians call this information literacy."
