Summer Sabbatical?

The summer is half over already. I have been busy. In addition to vacation time, I also have spent some time in the hospital with my sick (but now well) son.

Unfortunately, this blog has suffered as a result. I have not had the time or desire to write posts. When I first started this blog back in 2003, I actually used to post everyday. Then I fell back to five a week. And then to three and this summer I am averaging one a week! I will get my average back up but in the meantime it looks weird when I bring this blog up and I realize I have not updated in a while.

I also post at the American Presidents Blog. I created that blog in 2003 as well. However, I opened it up to two other bloggers and I think it is of a higher quality when I was keeping it by myself. Which makes me think, should I consider this here too?

Would any reader who is a librarian or library school student be interested in posting here about information literacy, libraries, library instruction, and other library topics? If so, leave me a comment. I would be willing to turn this into a group blog.

Please note that I am not interested in having this blog used for spamming. So, anyone reading this with the hope you will be able to gain access to this blog for SEO reasons is mistaken. I will verify the background and identity to make sure any guest blogger here is indeed qualified and desirable to have here.
