Future of this Blog?

I attended the Michigan Library Association Conference last week. It was a good event. I learned a lot and was able to socialize and network.

However, I was given several mild rebukes for my obvious neglect of this blog. They were well deserved. I have seriously fallen off my dedication to this blog. I am sorry but my job, my family, and my dissertation have cut into my time and compromised the frequency of the posts here.

I will keep this blog up no matter what. My pasts posts are useful. Further, I will add good content here from time to time.

I have a possible solution. Would you like to post here? Do you care about information literacy and library instruction? Would you like to post at a visible blog that does well in search engines? This is the place.

I turned my American Presidents Blog into a group blog in the Spring of 2006. Since then, Jennie W. and Elementaryschoolteacher have done a great job of updating that blog. I still contribute but there is no pressure on me to post more than once or twice a week. Could this work here?

If you are interested, please send me an e-mail or post a comment. If you are an educator, librarian, or student interested in this topic, I will invite you in. If you are a spammer looking for a Google PR 6 blog to get links from, do not waste your time.

I hope some good volunteers will be interested now (or in the future) in contributing to this information literacy blog.

If you get enough people to volunteer, I'd love to help out. I had a blog that I was using to post about a variety of library issues (IL, marketing, etc.), but I was never able to keep it up due to work, family, etc. If there are enough people posting to keep the pressure off, I'd love to contribute!

Give me an email if this works out. nancy AT infollectual DOT com
